MCW13 - Narsarsukite - $ 125 SOLD
Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada
small cabinet, 6.6 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm

Sorry, we have no images of this specimen at present.

A large specimen with several very nice crystals of this rare species. The smaller, pristine crystal measures just over 1.25 cm. The larger crystal is almost 2 cm across, considered large, and is very showy though it is missing one lower corner as you can see in the pictures. Ex Marcelle and Charles Weber Collection

MCW6 - Narsarsukite - $ 300 SOLD
Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada
thumbnail, 2.6 x 2.0 x 1.4 cm

Sorry, we have no images of this specimen at present.

A SUPERB example of the rare YELLOW Narsarsukite to my knowledge found only here. In any case, its certainly gotta be the prettiest possible examples for the species and as for that, this thumbnail is one of the best I have seen (not the biggest mind you, but aesthetically as a specimen, its up there!). It features a perfectly balanced 1.3 cm crystal perched nicely on matrix and comes from the noted Marcelle and Charles Weber Collection. It is somewhat more translucent in person than it appears here.

4.7 x 4.4 x 4.0 cm. An exceptionally gemmy and large, 1.9 cm, glassy and transparent, greenish-yellow, thin, tabular narsarsukite crystal set in starkly contrasting snow-white matrix on a fine-grained hornfels from Mt. St-Hilaire, Canada. You can look right through the crystal to the matrix. Narsarsukite is a rare sodium, titanium silicate. Mt. St-Hilaire produces the world's finest specimens and largest crystals for the species. This is a superb one. See the Mineralogical Record Special Issue, Vol. 21, # 4, 1990. This mineral species is relegated to the Alkali Massifs, ie. Mont St. Hilaire and Greeenland. A fine example of a rare color varietal found nowhere else.

This mineral species is relegated to the Alkali Massifs,ie. Mont St Hilaire and Greeenland. I must say that this is one of the finest, albeit small, specimens I have seen of this species. On a gray matrix are two, oil green, translucent, lustrous crystals of narsarsukite. The smaller, pristine crystal measures .7 cm across. rare! 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm
