Meneghinite - Bottino Mine, Stazzema, Apuan Alps, Lucca Province, Tuscany, Italy

1.1 x 0.4 x 0.2 cm. A remarkably well-formed, euhedral, twinned crystal for this rare sulfosalt species from the Type Locality. Small, but very fine and a great reference specimen. The twinning plane groove is a real attention getter. The Bottino Mine is ANCIENT, having been worked by the Etruscans!
