Kornerupine is a rather rare stone, which is not often seen in rich colors (usually only brown or yellow). This stone is a very attractive, green color, virtually eye clean with a Round cut. I have to say that this is one of the better Kornerupines for color and clarity that I've offered in the gallery. They are not as common as one might think and this gem doesn't get much credit because it usually occurs in such somber colors.
