1.7 x 1.3 x 0.5 cm. Khaidarkanite is a very rare, recently named, copper hydroxyhalide and this rich, two-sided thumbnail is from the Type Locality - the Khaidarkan Sb-Hg deposit, Kyrgyzstan. Clusters of powder-blue khaidarkanite micro-needles richly cover both sides of this thumbnail. Khaidarkanite was named in 1999.
