Hyalophane feldspar - Zagradski Potok Mine, Busovaka, Bosnia

Exceptional, choice cluster of sharp crystals of Hyalophane, a rare variety of Feldspar. This specimen is dominated by a twinned, GEMMY, 2 cm crystal with superb luster and complex habit. It's light straw-yellow color is accented by the gemminess. One of the best I have seen from this locality, and much better in person, as gemmy crystals can be very hard to photograph. This is an outstanding thumbnail example from a famous locale that exemplifies the best of the species
