Henmilite is an ungodly rare copper borate species. The world's best of species by far has come from modern finds at this small mine, about 10 years ago. Before that, only a few museums had even single crystals as good as the 2-3 mm crystals upon this specimen. Briefly, there were enough for all rare species collectors of this beautiful and interesting species. But, that was now a decade ago nearly, and they have disappeared from the market. This is an aesthetic, 3-dimensional piece.

Henmilite is a beautiful copper borate species with vibrant purple color, and this find to me still remains one of the great discoveries of the past decade in terms of relevance to the collector of beautiful rarities. This is an oustanding specimen from a major find of about 4 years ago, at an old classic locality where this species had first been described. This find produced most of the best known specimens to date, and this is a great miniature representative of this quality. Crystals reach 4 mm here, but most are closer to 2mm. 4.5 x 2.7 x 2.3 cm
