5.5 x 3.2 x 2.7 cm. Rich, velvety-blue gormanite crystals on matrix with siderite, from this classic locality. This is a very nice and showy miniature for the species! Tim Blackwood Collection.
5.4 x 2.9 x 2.7 cm. Gormanite is an ULTRA-RARE phosphate. Most crystals are small and are usually associated with the Yukon, Canada Type Localities - Rapid Creek and Big Fish River. This KILLER specimen consists of LARGE, lustrous, deep sea-green, radiating clusters of acicular crystals RICHLY dispersed in a contrasting chocolate-brown matrix. This SUPER piece is from a small and recent find near Linopolis, Brazil.
6.4 x 3.4 x 2.9 cm. A gormanite specimen (a phosphate unfamiliar to many: Fe++3Al4(PO4)4(OH)6•2(H2O) of rare quality from Rapid Creek (known mostly for its lazulites), a really great specimen for what it is! There is one rather large, brushy cluster here, and several smaller sprays speckled about. The gormanite is beautifully isolated on a bed of transparent siderite crystals, which is another reason this specimen is special.

3.7 x 3.3 x 2.8 cm. Gormanite is a very rare phosphate. Most crystals are small and are usually associated with the Yukon, Canada Type Localities - Rapid Creek and Big Fish River. This fine and rich specimen consists of large, lustrous, deep sea-green, radiating clusters of bladed crystals richly concentrated atop blocky matrix. This excellent piece is from Big Fish River.
Exceptional crystals of gormanite in isolated groups to 1 cm, from a rare one-time find perhaps 20 years ago in Linopolis. These are seldom seen on the market today and so most folks think the best comes from Canada - but to my eye, these crystals from Brazil will always be better. 6.8 x 3.2 x 2.1 cm
