8.5 x 7 x 5.2 cm. Very nice specimen containing dozens of classic gemmy green fluorites associated with Muscovite and Feldspar. Many of the fluorites have the famous purple tinting to some of the edges. The largest of the crystals is about 2 cm across. The faces of the Fluorites vary from clear to silky to having stepped growth, which adds nice diversity to the individual crystals.
4.4 x 2.3 x 2.0 cm. An exquisite miniature from a new find of gemmy fluorite cubes with a slight purple blush, on equally gemmy, prismatic quartz crystals.
8.8 x 5.4 x 3.1 cm. This specimen is from the exciting recent finds at this classic old locality. On a bed of lustrous sphalerite crystals is a cluster of fluorites with gemmy interiors, with iridescent pyrite both on and included INSIDE some of the crystals!
11.6 x 10.6 x 6.2 cm. A LARGE specimen from the recent finds at Naica - a thick plate of sphalerite serves as the base for a big, rich cluster of tightly intergrown fluorite crystals. Sprinkled across the fluorites are brassy little pyrites, and the pyrites are also richly included INSIDE the fluorite crystals - you can see them clearly when you look into the absolutely transparent "window" faces of the fluorites.
6.8 x 4.2 x 2.4 cm. A crystal of gemmy purple fluorite has grown on a shallow bed of muscovite, which in turn grew on a complete, terminated, euhedral crystal of ferberite.
3.3 x 2.8 x 2.0 cm. A showy specimen of very glassy and gemmy, cherry-red rhodochrosite rhombs to 1.9 cm nicely set on matrix and accented with light purple fluorite from the recent Chinese finds.
3.9 x 3.9 x 3.5 cm. A JEWEL-LIKE, pristine, lavender, cuboctohedral fluorite crystal on bed of sphalerite from the recent find at the Gibralter Mine at Naica. Most of the lustrous faces on this beauty are lightly frosted, which makes the crystal translucent. BUT, a couple of side faces are gem-clear, which give a television-like view in to the crystal interior. A really neat effect. CLASSIC and very fine Naica material.
11.4 x 11.4 x 2.8 cm. Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. The mining of these is now FINISHED, apparently for GOOD! These octahedrons measure up to 1.5 cm tip to tip.
3.6 x 3.1 x 2.9 cm. These gem fluorites from a well-known find in Naica are HIGHLY sought-after and very rare on the market. They have a gemmy quality that purple fluorites rarely have, and they really just GLOW. Silky surfaces and absolutely transparent interiors. The crystals measure to 1.7 cm.
9.0 x 6.7 x 5.1 cm. China keeps producing great quality, crystallized display specimens and has provided collectors with more fine quality minerals than virtually any other country in recent memory. Here we have a very attractive crystal group of beautiful purple color cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 9 mm on edge with medium luster and sharp faces. The Fluorites are sitting on great, sharp, lustrous, colorless Quartz crystal matrix.
8.2 x 7.2 x 4.0 cm. An excellent and showy Erongo specimen of large, zoned, emerald-green and purple fluorite cubes aesthetically perched on feldspar matrix. The large cube is 2.1 cm and the cube with the deep emerald-green interior and purple edges and corners is particularly striking. Pristine and fine material from the stock of dealer/collector Charlie Key.
11.1 x 10.6 x 5.8 cm. The fluorite crystals on this very large specimen from the Shangbao Mine are so water-clear, they look like glass. Except, they have these wonderful purple blushes deep inside. They have exactly the same brightness and clarity of the best Dalnegorsk fluorite cubes. The largest crystal here measures 3 cm across the edge.
6.4 x 5.6 x 5.4 cm. This specimen of translucent green fluorite is absolutely fascinating from a crystallographic standpoint; you could look at it for hours. It is a textbook study in the cube modifying to the octahedron. The central crystal is a large octahedral form whose faces appear as hundreds of small cubes, like the pyramids. Around its sides, and surmounting its peak, are beveled cubes.
4.7 x 4.2 x 2.2 cm. These incredibly clear fluorite cubes from the Chashan Mine have proven nearly impossible to photograph, due largely to their clarity. You cannot see that they actually have a pretty, light bright green color. In person, their faces are like clear windows into the perfectly transparent interiors, and they have beautiful frosted bevels on the edges. These are truly world-class fluorites, and it is telling that some dealers are stashing them away till their value is better realized.
6.9 x 5.6 x 4.3 cm. The side faces of these green fluorites are perfectly smooth, glassy windows into the incredibly clear and gemmy interiors of these crystals, which measure to 2.8 cm across. Frosty bevels surround these "windows." Crystals surround just a bit of matrix, on all sides.
