An unusually large and fine, translucent, fluorite with excellent classic pink color! Seldom do pink fluorites of this quality reach such size. It is complete al around save only for a natural contact on the back face of the octohedron 4.6 x 3.5 x 1.9 cm
This is an excellent representative example from this rare and desirable pocket of GEMMY blue apatite perched on deep puple fluorite octohedra, found perhaps 15 years or so ago ( i still remember seeing them labelled as aquamarine at the time!). None have been found since, and they are quite rare on the market now. 6.5 x 4.1 x 3 cm
This is a gracefully curved specimen of matrix which displays about a dozen SHARP AND GEMMY fluorites to 2 cm, showcasing deep internal phantoms of a vivid purple color! This habit and style is NOT common from the mine, and is much more vivid and bright in person. 11 x 6 x 5 cm
A very pretty specimen that combines very gemmy lavender fluorites with a cluster of quartz crystals. A couple of minor dings, but overall in good shape and very aesthetic. 9.9 x 6.5 x 5.5cm
Bright red crystals of sphalerite pepper the display face of a purple fluorite crystal. Crystal is complete on the display face, with the contacts from removal from matrix on the sides and back. 4.5 x 4.0 x 2.5cm
A really aesthetic miniature of purple fluorites on matrix from Namibia. The crystals measure up to 1 cm. 5.3 x 4.3 x 3.5cm
A fluorite specimen with the super-complex stepped faces distinctly characteristic of this locality. The large crystal measures 4 cm across. 9.2 x 7.6 x 5.8cm
A bigger brother of the other Okarusu fluorite in this auction, for someone who prefers larger specimens. The crystals are very sharp and fine, measuring to about 1.6 cm. The specimens shows nice relief (3-dimensionality) due to the mix of small crystals and larger ones. A very impressive specimen! 9.2 x 7.1 x 6.2cm
This is a REALLY unique Yaogangxian fluorite specimen. On a large plate sparkling with glittery purple fluorite microcrystals are three large crystals (to 1.8 cm) that grew, then were coated on some faces with a white mineral and others with purple fluorite microcrystals, then later began to grow again in a TEAL-BLUE color after the solution in the pocket had changed -- creating these amazingly and pretty phantoms! 12.9 x 11.1 x 4.1cm
Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. Occasionally, such as with this particular piece, you get the wonderful clarity of an Alpine piece as well. These octahedrons measure up to 1.7 cm on edge, and have fine, deep pink color. A large, impressive specimen! 14.5 x 7.6 x 3.2cm
A EXCELLENT and SHOWY specimen from the BRAND NEW find in the Erongo Mountains of Namibia. A stalk of an etched, off-white feldspar crystal is pleasingly dotted with gemmy, green fluorite cubes with purple corners. Tiny schorl crystals dust the fluorite cubes and the feldspar crystal. 8.1 x 2.5 x 1.9 cm
A BEAUTIFUL, classic cluster of lustrous, translucent, pastel-green, fluorite octohedrons with purple highlights from the famous Silverton District of Colorado. Very minor periphery damage to this showy piece. Excellent purple fluorescence. 5.2 x 4.2 x 4.2 cm
A cluster of transparent, delicate light lavender crystals of fluorite. The cluster is complete all the way around, almost appearing to be a floater; they grew as a knob on a little patch of clear fluorite, which you can see on the bottom. So, this pretty piece can be displayed from any side. 5.1 x 4.2 x 4.0cm
Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. These octahedrons measure up to 1.5 cm across. Once in awhile, you get a specimen such as this with matrix showing around the edges of the fluorite cluster, providing contrast which adds an extra degree of attractiveness. 7.5 x 5.5 x 3.6cm
A UNIQUE and STRIKING specimen of fluorite! Beautifully "arranged" on a matrix of moss-green muscovite are large, gemmy crystals of fluorite with complex stepped corners, accented with dark purple! A most uncommon and beautiful large fluorite specimen, very showy and unique! The fluorites measure to 2.5 cm across. A mos tunusual specimen that really stands out. 14.0 x 6.0 x 5.8cm
