D05-62 - Epistilbite with Heulandite in Quartz geode - $ 750 SOLD Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India small cabinet, 8.5 x 7.2 x 4.2 cm
A slamon-pink cluster of incredibly well-formed euhedral epistilbite crystals, showing tru chisel-type terminations, flanked by two splaying wings of heaulandite! I had this trimmed down from a much larger specimen to highlight the unusual combination, and I think the result is quite unique
IND24 - Epistilbite - $ 750 SOLD Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India cabinet, 9.9 x 7.5 x 4.0 cm
Utterly superb, GEM-QUALITY fans of this rare zeolite. You never see the crystals this well-defined, nor this gemmy. The quality of these fan-shaped growths, so reminiscent of the classic Adamite fans, is incredible! The overall aesthetics is out of this world for the species, especially given the stark contrasting matrix!
INDI-15 - Epistilbite in vug - $ 475 SOLD Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India cabinet, 10.5 x 5.8 x 4.6 cm
This is another fine example of open space in a vug allowing the formation of crystallized minerals. In this case, the vug in basalt has allowed the lustrous, translucent, colorless, EPISTILBITE to form in parallel growth crystals. This is a super example of this rare species. The Epistilbite measures 5.0 cm across.
INDI-20 - Stellerite, Epistilbite, Fluorapophyllite - $ 950 Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India cabinet, 13.2 x 9.6 x 7.4 cm
This combo specimen not only shows off the three species but also its formation in a basaltic vug. Light, emerald green, translucent, and lustrous fluorapophyllite, to 4.0 cm across, formed first. Then, came ivory colored, lustrous and translucent, epistilbite in spherical growth, measuring more than 5.0 cm across; at the same time as growth of pearlescent, lustrous, translucent, epistilbite crystals, measuring up to 2.0 cm in length. This is a zeolitic smorgasbord! The cluster is very bright and thought white, sparkles quite a bit.

5.3 x 4.1 x 2.8 cm. KILLER, gemmy and glassy, tabular and blocky, colorless epistilbite crystals aesthetically set in a vug in basalt matrix on this SUPER specimen from Jalgaon. Epistilbite is much less common than stilbite in India and this is an OUTSTANDING specimen of the species. Much effort and care was taken in trimming the matrix to produce this fine specimen.
MD-136116 - Epistilbite, Heulandite, Stilbite, Apophyllite-(KF), Quartz - - Archived Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India small cabinet, 9.0 x 6.7 x 5.9 cm.
9.0 x 6.7 x 5.9 cm. A complex and unusual combo specimen from India. In the middle of the specimen is a fan of reddish-brown heulandite that anchors the top and bottom. Above, you have grey stalactitic drusy quartz, with peachy stilbites and a gemmy little fluorapophyllite. Ex. Rebecca Stewart collection.
MD-153356 - Thomsonite, Epistilbite - - Archived Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India miniature, 3.9 x 3.5 x 2.0 cm.
3.9 x 3.5 x 2.0 cm. A perfect and very showy hemisphere of off-white thomsonite nicely accented with lustrous epistilbite blades from an uncommon Indian locality - Chinchwad. Thomsonite is one of the more uncommon zeolite group species and this is a good one. Ex. George Feist Collection.
MD-154629 - Epistilbite - - Archived Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India miniature, 4.2 x 3.7 x 3.0 cm.
4.2 x 3.7 x 3.0 cm. Glassy and lustrous, bladed rosettes of colorless epistilbite crystals aesthetically set in vug and accented by smaller crystals on this showy and excellent specimen from Jalgaon. Epistilbite is much less common than stilbite in India and this is a highly representative specimen of the species, not withstanding the cleave on the upper right corner of the epistilbite, which is barely noticeable, as you can see. Ex. George Feist Collection #2341.
MD-168125 - Epistilbite - - Archived Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India small cabinet, 5.3 x 3.8 x 3 cm.
5.3 x 3.8 x 3 cm. A lovely, very sculptural 1.8 cm Epistilbite ball nestled in a basalt pocket. The lustrous Epilstilbites vary in length, giving the cluster an incredible "cityscape" appearance in 3-dimensions. Ex. Charlie Key.
MD-170550 - Epistilbite, Calcite - - Archived Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India small cabinet, 6.0 x 5.5 x 3.0 cm.
6.0 x 5.5 x 3.0 cm. Epistilbite is much less common than stilbite from the Deccan Traps of India and this is a very showy combination specimen from Jalgaon. A large, translucent, colorless, frosted epistilbite ball fills a vug in basalt matrix and is beautifully complimented by three, sharp, gemmy calcite rhombs. Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
MD-181712 - Epistilbite, Quartz (Var: Amethyst) - - Archived Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, India small cabinet, 5.4 x 4.3 x 2.0 cm.
5.4 x 4.3 x 2.0 cm. Epistilbite is much less common than stilbite from the Deccan Traps of India and this is a fine combination specimen from Jalgaon. A 1.7 cm, saw-tooth-like cluster of glassy, translucent, colorless, parallel-growth epistilbite crystals is set in a curved vug in basalt matrix filled with very glassy, transparent, light purple amethyst crystals. MD-220552 - Apophyllite, Epistilbite, Chabazite - - Archived Hirado Island, Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Kyushu Region, Japan cabinet, 10.3 x 9.0 x 5.7 cm.
10.3 x 9.0 x 5.7 cm. An old-time, fine cabinet combination zeolite specimen from an uncommon Japanese locale - Hirada, Hizen. A rich, striking and well-placed vug in matrix is highlighted by the 2.0 wide, pastel-green, complex apophyllite crystal cluster and is beautifully surrounded by pearlescent epistilbite blades and blocky chabazite crystals. Accompanied by an old F. Krantz label, which dates from after 1888 to perhaps around 1910.
