5.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm. Emplectite is an uncommon copper, bismuth sulfosalt and this old-time specimen features metallic, gray needles to 7 mm and microcrystals richly scattered on the quartz-rich sulfide matrix. This is classic old material. The specimen hails from the well-known Pohla-Tellerhauser Mine, near the Type Locality, in Saxony, Germany. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I.

This is classic old material, and a real rarity on the market today. This specimen features literally dozens of flat, embedded emplectite crystals to 7 or 8 mm in size. They are golden flashes in the gray matrix, easily eye-visible in person. 7 x 5.9 x 1.8 cm
