A rich crust covered with sharp, lustrous , fat crystals to 2-3 mm in size, makes this a very fine miniature of this classic rarity (a complex iron silicate with multiple oxidation states of iron in the same crystal). It comes from one of the important old location, as well. Superb miniature, better in person 5 x 3.9 x 1.6 cm

3.5 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm. Cronstedtite is a rare iron silicate of the serpentine group. This very rich and showy little specimen is festooned with lustrous, black, trigonal crystals to 3 mm on a 3-dimensional crust of matrix. It is a rare occurrence to have such a rich coverage of cronstedtite, and this specimen displays very well. This is a classic rarity from the famous Herja Mine of Romania.

3.4 x 2.3 x 0.7 cm. Cronstedtite is a rare iron silicate of the serpentine group. This very rich and beautiful specimen is festooned with lustrous, black, trigonal crystals to 1-2 mm on a thin crust of matrix. The crystals are formed into crude botryoids. It is a rare occurrence to have such a rich coverage of cronstedtite, and this specimen displays very well. This is a classic rarity from the famous Siglo XX Mine of Bolivia and is very seldom available.
