A MAGNIFICENT example of the world-class coppers that came out of the Itauz Mine in Russia until about a year ago. This specimen is ALL crystal, in a gorgeous dendritic (branching) form. And, it is not flimsy at all, but actually quite substantial. 4.8 x 4 x 0.2 cm
A 3-dimensional, aesthetic example of this rarer replacement, with a rich natural patina to it. This is the sharpest, finest such example of copper replacement of the famous Fiero azurites, that I have ever seen. It is surely an old piece, probably 50 years or more out of the ground. It is a MONSTER compared to others on the market. They are rare as it is, mind you...but a complete miniature sized floater of such sharpness?!?! unheard of. 4.5 x 3.8 x 3 cm
Clearly an oldtimer, this is a sharp, bright crystal with an incredible termination, broad and well-developed! The quality is exceptional and the display bang of the euhedral large crysatl blows me away. 6 x 3.9 x 3 cm
A beautiful, completely crystallized New Mexico copper, in the shape of a dendritic “fan” – not at all wimpy and thin, actually rather sturdy. 4.5 x 3.8 x 0.5 cm
superb thumb coppe r- MUCH better in person! sharp,small xls 2.4 x 2.1 x 1.5 cm
Very fine, richly included specimen, large thumb or toenail, of this old classic!. 3.2 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm
A large (for Onganja specimens), completely crystallized dendritic copper, with elegant branching form and a beautiful patina. Another fine piece from the collection of Richard Hauck. 8.1 x 7.2 x 3.6 cm
A LARGE specimen of crystallized copper from the classic White Pine Mine locality in Michigan! The specimen consists of interlaced sheets of crystallized copper, with accents from patina and little calcites here and there. This old Michigan piece came out of the Hauck Collection. 15.1 x 8.2 x 3.5cm
A truly exquisite Onganja small mini, crystallized from top to bottom. 3.6 x 1.8 x 0.5 cm
A superb, sharp, 8 mm, tetrahexahedral copper crystal with excellent patina, protruding from a well-crystallized mass of copper crystals from the famous New Cornelia Mine of Arizona. The copper crystals are partially enclosed in quartz matrix. This could be a finer specimen if "opened" up from the quartz. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. 8.5 x 4.5 x 2.7 cm
A well-crystallized specimen of copper from the recent Russian finds, with a pretty antique patina. 3.7 x 3.0 x 0.4cm
An AESTHETIC, arborescent, thumbnail cluster of lustrous, cuprite-coated, spinel-twiined copper crystals with a bit of malachite from the famous Emke Mine of Namibia. 2.3 x 1.9 x 1.3 cm
Just a stunning crystallized copper specimen, amply representing the world-class coppers that came out of the Itauz Mine in Russia for awhile (but sadly, have stopped, at least for now; there is no telling whether specimens this good will come out anymore, even if the mining works its way around the open pit back to the specimen-rich area sometime in the future). 7 x 2.5 x 0.6 cm
A richly crystallized, very sculptural old Michigan copper; note how the top looks almost insect-like, like a praying mantis or some such thing. The “base” is basically a cluster of intergrown crystals. In fact, every part of this specimen is crystallized. 7.5 x 3.2 x 2 cm
An exquisite specimen, with SHARP, METALLIC< fiery red cuprite crystals perched on sharp, elongated copper cyrstals. Copper of this quality is extremely uncommon for Tsumeb. Cuprite more so in any kind of good cubic form, let alone with such lustre! The combo....seen only a few times, in small pockets. This is an exceptional competition-quality miniature. It is MUCH better in person, too. 5.2 x 3.2 x 1.5 cm
