9.3 x 5.2 x 4.3 cm. An arborescent, sculptural, latticework and box-work of rust-red, cuprite-coated, flattened and spinel-twinned copper crystals with a bit of attached matrix from the famous Ray Mine of Arizona. Ex. Stoudt Collection.
7.5 x 3.4 x 3.1 cm. This is a specimen of small, sparkly crystals of dolomite from the classic Tsumeb locality, tinted by inclusions of copper, as well as having little crystals of copper present amongst the piled-up dolomites. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
3.2 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm. Here is a superb thumbnail size specimen of the famous pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite from Corocoro.
7.7 x 3.0 x 1.8 cm. Here we have a fine example of an aesthetic, bright Copper specimen from one of the most historic and classic mining districts in the United States. This piece is a gorgeous well crystallized specimen. There are many little "arms" of Copper flaring in every direction which are relatively sharp and somewhat lustrous. The topmost crystals seem to be slender skeletal octahedrons.
4.2 x 1.7 x 0.4 cm. An elegant, complete crystallized copper from the Itauz Mine in Russia.
4.4 x 4.2 x 2.9 cm. A rare Mexican example of copper included inside a crystal of calcite. Although most faces are admittedly cleaved - this is a locality piece of some interest from a historic find. If you look down into the crystal, you can see the bright copper along the surface of the matrix.
9.8 x 5.9 x 0.8 cm. This is a finely-crystallized specimen of arborescent copper, with a nice "antique" patina to it.
A stellar miniature , complete 360-degrees all around and exquisitely crystallized for a Tsumeb copper! From the Nauke Oechslin Collection, purchased in Africa in the early 2000: a noted collection mentioned in Gebhard’s Tsumeb books. 4.5 x 3 x 1.3 cm
This specimen, shapeed like a tree, stands on its own and displays well from either side. The exquisite crystallization is a rarity for Tsumeb, especially when combined with the overall aesthetics of the piece. This piece is regarded as one of the single most aesthetic large copper specimens from Tsumeb, which really did NOT produce a heckuva lot of native copper in good crystallized specimens. 10 x 8 x 4 cm
This important piece is widely regarded as the finest large Tsumeb copper in private hands. It is from the Nauke Oechslin Collection, purchased in Africa in the early 2000: a noted collection mentioned in Gebhard’s Tsumeb books. HEFTY, solid, 3-dimensional piece, completely crysatllized all around! 16 x 10 x 9 cm
2.4 x 2.4 x 2.0 cm. A superb thumbnail specimen of sharp, trident-like, Type 1 branching copper crystals from the famous Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
4.5 x 2.2 x 1.0 cm. Hetaerolite is a rare zinc, manganese oxide. Rust-brown, bubbly hetaerolite totally coats a copper leaf. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
5.7 x 2.5 x 0.4 cm. An elegant specimen of wonderfully crystallized copper from the Itauz Mine. Here you have a long spine of crystals attached to a small piece of intergrown matrix and copper.
A super miniature plate of tiny copper-in-calcite crystals richly covered with beautiful, bright dendritic copper crystals from Tsumeb! Well-developed copper specimens were never common from Tsumeb. UNBELIEVEABLE METALLIC LUSTRE IN PERSON - the brightest copper I have yet seen from Tsumeb 4.2 x 3.5 x 1.3 cm
A relatively large specimen richly covered in calcites to 1.3 cm included by penny-bright copper. A Michigan classic! 7.6 x 5.6 x 5.0 cm
