MCW59 - Childrenite - $ 100
Rapid Creek, Yukon, Canada
small cabinet, 6.2 x 5.5 x 3.9 cm

Sorry, we have no images of this specimen at present.

Thumbnail, 2.3 x 2 x 1.5 cm A rare example of CHILDRENITE from Rapid Creek, with a 1.5 cm crystal on matrix, freestanding. Childrenite is acutally quite rare from this locality though common at other phosphate deposits, and this recent find by Rod Tyson has produced some of the best seen so far from the rich Rapid Creek deposits. This was one of the BEST pieces with good crystals to be had at Tucson , for any size of specimen, and was my first choice of the lot.
