A shockingly pristine, symmetric, radial reticulated cerussite of classic style but with an unusual reddish tint to it! The piece is glassy and lustrous, and complete all around. No damage! Specimens of this quality and perfection are few and far between today, are generally 30 years and more out of the ground, and generally much more pricey. This is a rare treasure... 5.7 x 5.5 x 2.9 cm

One of the classic "fragile" reticulated cerussites of extremely fine filigree, from the mid 1970s finds by mine geologist John Innes (so I am told). this is a very distinct form, and style. They are extremely rare on the market for obvious reasons, given the fragility and length of time passed since they were found. This is an excellent piece because it also has a more "normal" v-twin cerussite in association, measuring about 2 cm across. As with all such specimens form this pocket (or nearly all, i Should say), there is minor damage, trivial in context, to some of the more outlaying spokes. But the overall visual impact of this most reticulated style of cerussite is simply mesmerizing and there is little in the mineral world to match the elegance and cityscape complexity you see here. 8.2 x 7.2 x 2.8 cm

A really strange beast with drusy mimetite selectively covering some rounded cerussite crystals, themselves perched on a 3-dimensional hollow dolomite cast. Very attractive contrast and much more pretty and also 3-dimesnional in person! 6.7 x 5.4 x 4.5 cm

This ia a MATRIX speicmen of reticulated cerussite, with incredible visual appeal and sexy aesthetics! The piece displays fully upright and is just breathtaking for its complexity and the elegant positioning of the crossing spokes. It is twinned, though we refer to it as reticulated , as well, for the obvious complexity. As with most large cerussites from Tsumeb, after 30 years and more out of the ground and given the fragility, there is minor damage. However, the damage on the righthand side does not detract visually, though it needs to be mentioned there are some broken spokes there (You can see the contacts when you look close, but they are snapped off cleanly at bases and you do NOT see the contacted spots where they attached, except on close exam). It has MUCH BETTER LUSTRE and glassiness in person than the pics can convey. Truly, it will be like a starburst of light in a showcase. 6 x 4.7 x 4 cm

A unique combination piece from a small one-time pocket, totally unique in Tsumeb mining! This specimen has GEMMY, jewel-like, V-twins of cerussite to several centimeters in size perched ON elongated scalenohedral smithsonite crystals! the smithsonites are colored red by minute inclusions of hematite. Thus, this is unique for the color contrast, the combination, and the visual juxtaposition compared to any other ceru/smith association I am aware of. 6.2 x 4.6 x 2 cm

I cannot rave enough about this one! This is a very impressive matrix specimen which combines the best of two secondary lead minerals, anglesite and, to a lesser extent, cerussite. I have never seen, in all my years selling, such a fine matrix specimen of the lemony yellow anglesite from this mine for sale on the open market. I also haven't seen any of the lemony hue with cerussite in association. Now, I have seen the more typical, paler colored anglesite in both cases...but not anglesite with the top color as you see here. Gemmy, sulphur yellow, lustrous crystals of anglesite, with one monster 7 cm across, abound on this specimen. There is admittedly damage to some terminations on the periphery (and hence the price is not over 10k) but the display core of the piece is pristine and you see the COLOR and crystal form first, without the eye being drawn to the edges. Adding to the mix are gemmy, lustrous, slightly smoky, cerussite crystals, some, v-twinned, measuring 1.0 cm across. As you can imagine, for such soft minerals, there are minor contacts around the periphera, but this is still ONE major rock. THe elegance of the combination is really quite striking and as I have said above, I have never seen a similar specimen for sale in my time. 11 x 5.3 x 3.8 cm

Two showy clusters of glassy and lustrous, cyclically-twinned cerussite crystals aesthetically set on matrix from Tsumeb. There are a few edge bruises and one blade on the left twin has the tip broken off, but in the overall context of the piece, the damage is minor and does not detract. 4.2 x 3.3 x 2.2 cm

A BEAUTIFUL and SHOWY Tsumeb specimen of a gemmy and lustrous, 3.0 cm, cerussite sixling crystal jauntily perched atop pink, cuprian smithsonite-covered matrix. The sixling has very fine form and the couple of bruised areas are barely noticeable. Choice material from the Marty Lewadny Collection. 4.4 x 4.0 x 3.4 cm

This unusual specimen is comprised of tabular cerussite crystals which have been altered to pale blue, leadhillite. I have NEVER seen the like! THis is a very rare piece! Sitting in a vug is a composite unaltered leadhillite crystal which is lustrous and which exhibits the most beautiful pastel blue color. The unaltered crystal measures 1.0cm across and pseudos measure up to 3.0 cm across (some with minor edge damage). It is a beautiful piece overall. This deposit, over its history, has produced many surprising secondary specimens like this one. 5.8 x 3.8 x 3.4 cm

Lustrous, pearlescent to glassy, off-white to green, cyclically-twinned cerussite from the famous Mammoth Mine, Tiger, Arizona. The Art Montgomery label indicates that this piece dates from the late 1930s. This classic specimen would have been lead ore in the 1930s and the $1.00 price was not cheap. The scattered damage is barely noticeable on this very glossy piece. Ex Richard Hauck Collection 5.9 x 5.4 x 3.8 cm

A SHOWY and BEAUTIFUL, christmas tree-like specimen from Tsumeb of green, velvet malachite studded with "ornaments" of transparent to smoky, lustrous cerussite crystals. The large vertical cerussite crystal is 1.3 cm. I like the aesthetics of this showy piece and the trivial bruising is certainly not detracting. 5.8 x 4.5 x 3.1 cm
