10.5 x 6.8 x 6.4cm. A superb cluster of highly modified, tapered, pastel-pink calcite scalenohedrons are set in a cabinet matrix of quartz and sulfides. The calcite crystals of soft peachy-velvety look reach 4.6 cm. This specimen is seriously complimented by lustrous, lightly iridescent, tabular bournonite cog-wheels that reach 2.3 cm. Beautiful pink fluorescence. Ex. Dr. Gary Hansen Collection.

7.2 x 5.9 x 4.0 cm. A fine, old-time combination specimen from Bisbee of pastel-green, botryoidal smithsonite covering both sides of the mounded, vuggy gossan matrix. The smithsonite is beautifully accented by sparkly, amber calcite microcrystals. On the back, powder blue chrysocolla balls to 7 mm are aesthetically scattered in a large vug.

A highly lustrous and striated complete all-around and undamaged, jet-black ferberite crystal is highlighted by a 1.6 cm, upright, water-clear, flower petal-like, twinned calcite crystal. A colorless quartz crystal lies next to the calcite and the ferberite is lightly peppered with fluorite microcrystals.

8.5 x 5.5 x 4.0 cm. Superb and uncommon, very glassy, transparent, light purple fluorite dodecahedrons to 1.6 cm are scattered on matrix covered with glassy, colorless quartz crystals and nicely accented with calcite rosettes. A superb combination piece from the Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal’negorsk. Note that the fluorites are even more interesting for their wispy inclusions of what seems to be acicular quartz, grown through them like needles into the purple depths.

11.8 x 8.9 x 5.9 cm. A very interesting pseudomorph specimen from China, where sparkly microcrystals of quartz have pseudomorphed crystals of a first generation of Calcite that has been completely replaced leaving sharp scalenohedral forms. These pseudomorphs sit on a large chunk of massive green fluorite.

6.6 x 4.8 x 3.9 cm. A glassy calcite crystal with light tan color and flattened form, standing up attractively from matrix - hard to get now from this locality, particularly in this quality. This crystal has attractive, complex "cut glass" modifications on the lower part of the display side.

11.3 x 7.4 x 6.8 cm. This Pennsylvania calcite sits jewel-like on the matrix. It is very gemmy, looking much like an Indian or Rudnyi calcite in person. It measures just over 4 cm across, and has a delightful golden-yellow hue. Very sharp faces, some striated and others smooth as glass. Ex. Feist Collection.

20.0 x 11.0 x 4.5 cm. A superb, large cabinet pseudomorph spray from Dal’negorsk of cream-colored calcite after fluted, aragonite stalactites. The larger flutes are undamaged, with some of the stalactites terminating naturally and some contacted against sulfides. This piece dates to the early 1990s.
