13.7 x 9.9 x 5.5 cm. A MAJOR CABINET specimen of this ULTRA RARE lithium silicate from the famous Foote Mine of North Carolina. LARGE white to gray prismatic blades of bikitaite to 2.9 cm rest on a matrix of solid bikitaite along with innumerable smaller bikitaite crystals (white, elongated). The large bikitaite blades are nicely accented by brown, translucent apatite crystals to 1.2 cm. Ex. George Elling Collection.
