4.5 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm. Beaverite is a rare sulfate worldwide, but is very rare at Tsumeb. This is a VERY RICH specimen of earthy, yellow-green beaverite encrusting matrix and nicely accented by a scattering of cerussite crystals. MD-165254 - Beaverite, Smithsonite - - Archived Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto (Oshikoto) Region, Namibia small cabinet, 8.3 x 5.7 x 5.3 cm.
8.3 x 5.7 x 5.3 cm. Beaverite is a rare sulfate worldwide, but is VERY RARE at Tsumeb where I believe it occurs at its best. This is a VERY RICH piece with the three sides of the specimen richly covered with canary-yellow beaverite microcrystals. MD-169812 - Mimetite, Beaverite - - Archived Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto (Oshikoto) Region, Namibia miniature, 3.5 x 3.4 x 2.3 cm.
3.5 x 3.4 x 2.3 cm. Tsumeb Gem Pocket mimetite, from the one-time 1971 find, is considered the world’s finest mimetite. This showy and excellent Gem Pocket specimen is dominated by a 1.1 cm, gemmy crystal jauntily perched above a vug with smaller mimetites lying in a field of earthy, yellow-green beaverite. Beaverite is a rare sulfate and is very rare from Tsumeb. The large mimetite is doubly terminated, with the upper termination having embedded beaverite - contacted, but not damaged. This is a highly representative combination specimen from this famous find. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.

3.4 x 2.9 x 1.3 cm. There are numerous gemmy, deep green crystals of cuprian adamite, some doubly terminated to about 1 cm in length! The crystals have inclusions of Ferrilotharmeyerite which lends them color. Sprinkling them are sub-mm sized, but bright yellow beaverite. Ex. Willy Israel Collection.
MD-186429 - Mimetite, Beaverite - - Archived Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto (Oshikoto) Region, Namibia thumbnail, 2.0 x 1.4 x 1.3 cm.

This fine Gem Pocket thumbnail specimen is highlighted by two mimetite crystals: a 1.0 cm, gemmy crystal jauntily projecting upward; and a fat 9 mm horizontal mimetite with a contacted termination. Both crystals lie among smaller mimetites in a field of earthy, yellow-green beaverite on a bit of matrix. Beaverite is a rare sulfate and is very rare from Tsumeb. Ex. Irv Brown Collection.
