This is really an amazing pseudo. To find Copper in such sharp hexagonal habit, even knowing that it is a pseudo, still blows the mind. 1.7 x 1.6 x 1.6 cm
Gorgeous, sherbert-green, super lustrous, spherical clusters of adamite contrast nicely with a matrix of white aragonite. The largest sphere is 1.5 cm across. The crystals actually glow as if they were radioactive , with neon color! This small pocket found a few years ago is just awesome, and unique for the species. This is one of the best miniatures, I am sure. 4.5 x 3.1 x 2.6 cm
A superb example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. 6.2 x 4.1 x 2.9 cm
An aesthetic and superb floater cluster of gemmy, lustrous, light brown, hexagonal aragonite crystals from Spain. The two large crystals are doubly terminated and the bruised corner of one termination is totally out of sight. VERY UNCOMMON in this quality. 4.7 x 4.5 x 4.3 cm
A superb example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. If you do not have one of these, this is a good one! 4.4 x 4.2 x 2.4cm
This is an old specimen of aragonite with a strange biomorphic form, actually stalactitic in nature, with spiky arms sticking out in all directions. It came out of the collection of the Seaman Museum. 11.9 x 8.0 x 4.8cm
An elegant example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. This one has a particularly nice cluster perched on its edge, with crystals that stand way up off the limonite matrix. One of the nicer miniatures we have seen! 3.9 x 3.0 x 2.9cm
This is a highly unusual double-stalactite of aragonite that has pseudomorphed to quartz at its core and is further surrounded by a thick layer of glittering, sparkly quartz (somewhat translucent when backlit) - an elegant, sculptural specimen from a new find in India! 9.1 x 4.4 x 2.2cm
A superb example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. These shoot dramatically up off the top of the matrix! 6.2 x 4.1 x 3.2cm
A superb example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. If you do not have one of these, this is a really unique one - the only "ball" of crystals I can recall from the find, complete all around with just a little contact on the bottom, and a very "cute" size at that. 2.9 x 2.5 x 2.5cm
An aragonite specimen from this one-time find we bought out - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with tiny crystals growing like teeth on an earlier generation of sharp, larger crystals. These really stick up off the matrix in bold relief. 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.2cm
A big, rich specimen of Tsumeb tarnowitzite, showing fine crystal up to 2.5 cm in shallow pockets all across the display face of the specimen. The crystals are wonderfully sharp and lustrous. 11.4 x 10.1 x 8.4cm
A showy and excellent toenail specimen of sharp, lustrous, translucent, cream-colored tarnowitzite crystals to 1.3 cm on matrix with malachite. Tarnowitzite is the lead-rich variety of aragonite. The aesthetic tarnowitzite cluster is complete all-around and is damage-free. The scattered periphery damage is certainly not detracting. 2.9 x 2.4 x 2.1 cm
A lustrous, barrel-shaped crystal of aragonite, 3 cm in height by 2 across, perched very attractively on matrix. Nicely terminated! 7.1 x 5.1 x 3.3cm
A big, fat, chunky, TEXTBOOK hexagonal crystal of aragonite, a floater with no contacts, with several smaller intergrown crystals on its terminations. Check out the superb form! 3.9 x 3.2 x 2.8cm
