5.6 x 2.1 x 1.5 cm. A very unusual specimen from South Dakota for the quartz collector, and pretty too! This is a water-clear and gemmy quartz crystal included with and wrapped by a garland of iridescent pyrite flashing red and purple hues. Ex. Tom Campbell collection.

Silver, Ankerite, Siderite, Hemimorphite from Grub Mine, Silver City, Grant Co., New Mexico, USA [db_pics/mdpics/MD-170690a.jpg]

9.9 x 8.7 x 0.4 cm. A fascinating old New Mexico silver specimen, a slice through a mixed-matrix ore. Locked inside the matrix, you can see the tree-like (dendritic) forms of native silver, which actually crystallized in these pretty forms rather than just being massive - which is normally what you see in these mine slices. Ex. Dave Stoudt collection.

4.1 x 2.8 x 2.1 cm. A KILLER, brown ankerite crystal disc aesthetically attached to a gorgeous, jackstraw cluster of water-clear, doubly terminated, solution quartz crystals from a small, NEW FIND at the Jeffrey Quarry, near Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a SUPERB, essentially pristine combo and the ankerite crystal is LARGE for the locality and species.
