6.4 x 6.1 x 3.8 cm. An intensely sparkly bed of glassy, green adamite crystals is set on sculptural matrix on this fine specimen from the Mina Ojuela of Mexico. The green adamites are nicely complimented and accented by the iron oxide included or coating adamites on the edge of the cluster. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
4.8 x 3.6 x 2.2 cm. A very lustrous spray of beautiful, apple-green crystals of adamite. They have excellent lustre and unusually well developed crystal forms. The piece was purchased by the previous owner from Walt Lidstrom in 1973. Jack then bought it from a collection sold off in the early 1990s. Ex. Jack Halpern Collection.
3.2 x 2.5 x 1.0 cm. This aesthetic specimen features gorgeous florets of glassy, intensely purple manganoan adamite crystals richly and attractively set on sculptural gossan matrix. This piece is from the one-time find in 1981 and is highly representative. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
4.2 x 2.7 x 1.9 cm. A fine Mina Ojuela adamite specimen featuring the classic "pinwheel" crystal habit. The radial, elongated, gemmy and lustrous, beautiful, apple-green adamite prisms are revealed in the large broken pinwheel. The two unbroken pinwheels above highlight the glassiness, gemminess, gorgeous color and chisel terminations. The other side gives a nice perspective to the pinwheels with the accenting gossan matrix. Ex. Mullane Collection.
Lustrous and bright apple-green botryoidal cuprian adamite balls on limonite matrix. Ex Dr. Gary Hansen. 3.2 x 3.0 x 1.5 cm
Light lime-green radial adamite crystal clusters on limonite matrix. 5.7 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm
4.8 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm. Very gemmy and lustrous, straw-yellow adamite crystal clusters form a fine specimen from the Mina Ojuela and the Dave Stoudt Collection. These are extremely glassy adamites that on first glance, could pass for smithsonite. Highly representative of the locale and species.
8.4 x 7.4 x 5.5 cm. A classic Mina Ojuela adamite specimen from the Consie Prince Collection. Gemmy and lustrous, pear green adamite clusters as spheroids, pods and semi-pinwheels are very aesthetically scattered in the starkly contrasting, sturdy, gossan matrix vug. Excellent material from this famous locale.
2.7 x 1.4 x 1.4 cm. A classic, very showy adamite thumbnail called the "pinwheel" style from the Mina Ojuela of Mexico. The gemmy, glassy, yellow-green, hemispherical specimen is a mass of intergrown adamite crystals with chisel terminations. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
Wonderful, lustrous, apple-green adamite cluster 2 cm tall on gossan matrix. ex. Dr. Gary Hansen dealer stock and not shown since early 1980s. 4.3 x 2.2 x 1.8 cm
1.3 x 1.0 x 0.7 cm. A classic and very aesthetic bowtie thumbnail cluster of brilliant, emerald-green, prismatic cuprian adamite crystals from the Tsumeb Mine. Cuprian adamite of this quality is one of the most sought-after, less common species from this renowned locale.
A gorgeous Mexican combo specimen, featuring sharp clusters of calcite perched on a combo of tiny ball-shaped conichalcite on a plate of bright green cuproadamite microcrystals. (NOTE CORRECTED TEXT) 9.6 x 7.1 x 3.0 cm
3.0 x 2.8 x 2.3 cm. This aesthetic specimen features a gorgeous floret of glassy, gemmy, purple manganoan adamite crystals with sharp chisel terminations very attractively set on sculptural gossan matrix. This piece is from the one-time find in 1981 and is highly representative for this very desirable manganoan-adamite species (erroneously once though to be cobaltoan). For this size of specimen, this is an outstanding piece with large crystals. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
3.1 x 1.9 x 1.9 cm. A really fine, bowtie-like cluster of gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated, yellow-green adamite crystals from the Mina Ojuela of Mexico. The crystals have striking chisel terminations. These are very large and superb crystals from this famous locale. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection. Classic material.
4.4 x 4.1 x 2.8 cm. A very aesthetic, barrel-shaped, hemisphere of highly lustrous, translucent, intergrown, yellow-green adamite crystals from the Mina Ojuela of Mexico. The form of the adamite is striking, as it rests on the contrasting gossan matrix. The flat top is a contact, but has no damage, per se. Classic material from the Mullane Collection.
