This lovely bicolored elbaite crystal is wreathed by smaller "sidecar" crystals of the same style. The bottom half of this glassy specimen exhibits the classic "watermelon rind" with a green exterior and pink interior. The top third of the specimen is a rich grass green with the termination having a faint pink color. It is literally a palette of all the classic colors of Afghani tourmalines, in one piece! The mass is 309 grams. Very large and impressive in person, it has a heft and a visual mass to it that really make it impactful and frankly I do not think I could replace it today for the price, at the source - prices have really gone up in recent years, and few of this saturated color have been found. Comes with a custom base.
