An exceptional example for the species and the pocket, featuring giant crystals on rare ore matrix. Emplaced nicely on massive hematite ore are glassy and gemmy, bright lemon yellow jouravskite crystals, grown together into a cluster that is 2 cm across. These crystals are on chalky white xonotlite to 8 mm across, and bultfonteinite (pink) for contrast. The crystals are the fattest and thickest we have seen, and sit nicely on display atop the piece. They are so fat and gemmy, that stones could be cut from them. The cluster is 360 degrees around. Also, there are other crystals on this specimen, significant in their own right, though secondary to the huge cluster atop.
