Gorgeous, old specimen that is the type of combination piece that made the Mammoth Mine so famous. The lustrous, emerald-green Dioptase grows in well-formed balls of almost acicular crystals, and they are associated with numerous, reddish-orange, 3-4 mm Wulfenite crystals that are translucent to gemmy. The color combination is a knockout. Add in abundant spheres of yellow-orange Mimetite, and you have a super-aesthetic classic from Tiger. The pics are great, but I like it even better in person. Obtained from Scott Williams, her favorite dealer, probably in the 1950's judging by Kay's catalog number.
