A remarkable and important specimen of this rare species, with crystals among the best you can obtain (especially with some aesthetics!). These came out only VERY rarely from the famous mines at Broken Hill, working continuously since the 1880s until today. I am not aware of any significant recent finds, and I was told these date to the 1950s or before. I was offered two specimens like this a few years ago, comparable only to what I had seen in the major Aussie collections and far better than anything else which seemed to be on the market today. This was one of those two, and the more aesthetic. It is a beautiful cluster of intergrown parallel bladed crystals.
