This specimen is a really colorful and large cluster of Cadmian Smithsonite overgrown on an earlier generation of pink Cobaltian Smithsonite (resulting in a nuanced, unusual color palette!), and all on a Galena matrix. The Smithsonites reach up to 1.6 cm across, and the golden crystals have an attractive, iridescent luster. Of course, the piece is contacted along the peripheral edges, but the large display face is well preserved and, overall this is a very impactful and unusual cabinet specimen from Tsumeb. The combinatorial coloring really makes it stand out! ex. Sussman
