Topaz and Fluorite on Cleavelandite
Dassu, Braldu Valley, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Miniature, 5.1 x 3.9 x 3.2 cm
Ex. Herb Obodda
SOLD

This is an excellent combo specimen that well represents the upper end of material from this classic occurrence in Pakistan. The three transparent, totally glassy, champagne-colored Topaz crystals reach up to 2.7 cm in length, and are beautifully perched on snow white, lustrous, bladed Albite var. Cleavelandite. Nestled right in the middle is a green Fluorite, and both it and the Albite fluoresce very nicely. With the Topaz looking for all the world like cut glass, and with the piece being so balanced, this large miniature has outstanding aesthetics. Even better in person! Old dealer stock from the 1990s and early 2000s, ex. Obodda.
