This ultra rare, complex metallic oxide (lead and zinc with manganese, yttrium, titanium and iron) is known only from one deposit, Nova Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil. It was approved as a species in 2013. This remarkable specimen is composed of two, very lustrous, black crystals, to 2.5 cm across, perched on a bit of matrix. It came from the large find which produced most of the known examples of this species, and is, so far as I know and have been shown, among the largest of its species. I purchased this directly in Brazil from a lot of hundreds of crystals.
