Rarely does cassiterite occur in gemmy enough crystals or crystal fragments that can be faceted. This Chinese origin gemstone is 7.63 carats and is only very slightly included. It is a 10.3 mm round cut by the Montana dealership, Coast to Coast, of Art and Michael Grant. The color is light tan/brown and exhibits a good amount of happy sparkle inside! It is a superb cut of a difficult gem to facet in this quality. Old material, now hard to obtain.
