A superb, old-time combination piece of gemmy, golden-brown Eosphorite blades arranged in beautiful floral clusters. The crystals are well-formed with nice chisel-point terminations, and the luster varies from frosted to glassy. These are classic Eosphorites, and they are essentially pristine. The Eosphorites are associated with pink, crystalline Rose Quartz and spherical clusters of Roscherite. This combination from Brazil came out at the heyday for this island locality more than 40 years ago. None of this type have been found since and they remain a highly desirable classic. The aesthetics and balance of this particular thumbnail are outstanding, and I really like the forms and color contrasts.
