Outstanding combination specimen from the Minerva #1 Mine. The deep purple Fluorites are razor sharp, and they are actually quite gemmy. They just need a bright backlight to really see that, being of such a deep color. The largest crystal is 2.9 cm on edge, and save for one small ding, they are is excellent condition. Without a doubt, the truly exceptional characteristics for the Fluorites are the surface texture and luster. There is an amazing preferential etching that creates all sorts of subtle patterns along the edges and faces, and on close inspection, you can see they are truly noteworthy. Take a moment to look, and you will agree. Add some white Baryte, and you have a classic combination for Minerva. Mined in 1993. RCL0197
