A very rare, rich and super showy specimen from the type locality! Greenish-brown, radial prismatic crystals of macquartite to 1 mm are distributed in small vugs within a white matrix of quartz and calcite. Macquartite is a chemically complex copper lead chromate-silicate. A larger vug on the specimen contains brilliant green-blue, lustrous, divergent prismatic clusters of dioptase crystals to 3 mm, and orange blades of wulfenite to 3 mm. Beautiful!! Ex.
