This is a phenomenal cluster from the one most famous Fluorite pockets of Peru, discovered in the fall of 1981. After 30+ years of being out in the collecting community, most specimens are still safely in collections and these are VERY SELDOM on the open market. This is as fine a toenail as any I have seen come available in recent years, composed of two intergrown and sharp octahedra. The crystals are totally gemmy, having the classic pink color with green cores. The aesthetics are excellent, and it is even better in person. Complete all around, contacted only on the backside where it grew against matrix. These have stood the test of time, with no more such crystals being found since. A fine miniature, with the immediately recognizable style you want for this location.
