A well-formed, reclined, gemmy, lime green, translucent, 3cm, titanite is accompanied by yellow-green, subhedral, translucent, 0.5 to 3cm titanite crystals that grace a large, 7.5cm, splendent, silvery-gray specular ilmenite crystal. Initially, we believed this to be hematite, but Dr. Ricardo Scholz, Ouro Preo University, reached out to let us know that he "analised a sample from the same locality and looking like yours and I found an association of ilmenite and titanite."
