This is a superb example of highly sought-after Topaz from the Ouro Preto region, often referred to as "Imperial Topaz" for its orange color and brilliant luster. The specimen is a complete-all-around crystal (save for the cleaved base, of course) with great brightness and color intensity, combined with total clarity. It is truly fine by any standard. This gem crystal weighs 15.36 ct.
