Azurite
Emma Mine, Hanover-Fierro District, Grant County, New Mexico, USA
Miniature, 3.4 x 3.0 x 2.6 cm
SOLD
A very good locality specimen consisting of a well-developed cluster (nearly a rosette) of prismatic Azurite crystals. The Azurites have good luster and a rich blue color accented with the electric blue highlights that are so desirable. The largest crystal is about 1.2 cm. While the Azurite crystals are not sharp or super-lustrous, the overall piece is attractive and well-representative of the area.
