This robust Baryte specimen of Baryte is composed of a radiating cluster of tabular, spear-like, bicolored crystals, to 8 cm in length. The core areas of the crystals exhibit translucent gemmy cores contrasting sharply with bright, ivory colored bands at the edges (1 cm thick). The crystals are very lustrous and translucent! This piece is exceptionally 3-dimensional and is complete all around, with damage only around the base periphery. It can be displayed vertically with the crystals more flowery or horizontally, with the crystals splayed out.
