This is the largest crystal of Pyrite from New Guinea that I have seen. The large, 5 cm cubic Pyrite has very good luster and a bright, golden color. The edges are beveled, and although there is a small amount of edge wear, the specimen overall is nonetheless exceptional for the locality and attractive for a pyrite by any standard.
