This specimen hosts a 6 inch tall euclase standing straight up from contrasting matrix. Another, gemmier small euclase, and a pink apatite add accent. This specimen will, for me, always remain one of the top minerals I have ever had the honor to handle. The photos say it all! Formerly in the Marc Weill collection, this is one of the most famous South American specimens known, from a onetime pocket in 2002.
Note in August 2017: A source from the La Marina mine contacted us providing the alternate locality of La Marina.
