A classic! Wonderfully sculptured, this specimen features a sugary white calcite matrix upon which is emplaced these lustrous and translucent, somewhat blocky, orange wulfenite crystals to 1 cm across. The crystals very closely resemble caramel candies and this is one of the most famous old styles for the mine, dating to the 1970s and earlier. It is hard to find this style in a good specimen of any quality, in any affordable price range today, so I felt this was a rare piece of true quality for this material - price aside.
