Enchanting and simple, this elegant cabinet piece features a lustrous, golden Calcite "jewel" (twinned) on a bed of smaller sparkly Calcites, all perched on a vibrant, translucent purple Fluorite crystal. The large Calcite is 4.2 cm across, and is gemmy and lustrous, with a flashy golden color. The smaller Calcites range up to nearly 1 cm, but the average is closer to 5 mm. All are well-formed and euhedral and SPARKLY. Sitting on the rich purple Fluorite, the color and bright contrasts really make the Calcites stand out. Collected in 1992. Very good aesthetics. RCL1595
