Much richer in color than most of the previous specimens, this tabular, lustrous and translucent, deep sky blue beryl measures 1.3 cm across. Intense color, and a nice representative example of this rare varietal! Contacted on the sides, but still a displayable specimen from the front. These were originally thought to be Rosterite or Vorobyevite, but further analysis by Dr. Federico Pezzotta confirmed they are alkali-rich beryls.
