A fine silver combination specimen from the famous mines at Guanajuato, Mexico, I bought it direct from a miner and had it tested to be sure of the analysis: This toenail specimen features several beautifully burnished, aesthetically placed, curved and curled silver wires and thick silver ropes, entangling a significant cluster of sharp Pearceite crystals! The curled Silver wires wind their way in and out, and there is a short, thick Silver rope near the top. The Pearceite has a grooved habit and partially iridescent, silver-black color. Some acanthite crystals provide support underneath, although they may have altered partially to silver. All these silver species rest on a purplish-white base of Amythystine quartz crystals. A quality, aesthetic combination specimen of Silver with associated Silver minerals, and the rare species Pearceite.
