An exceptional, compound crystal of Hyalophane, a rare variety of Feldspar. What is so intriguing is that the specimen has a very distinct 'pagoda' look. From the sides, you can see what looks like a twinned layer, followed by 'layers' that seem untwinned and twinned. Quite interesting and fascinating. It's light straw-yellow color is accented by regions that are quite gemmy. Superb luster. One of the best I have seen from this locality, and much better in person, as gemmy crystals can be very hard to photograph.
