A very sharp crystal to just under 2 cm, perched smartly on matrix, makes this a great miniature! It has the best color and very sharp form combined with good luster - rare in matrix pieces from this locale. From new finds in a remote part of Iran in late 2013, these premiered at the Tucson show of 2014.
