Quartz
Betafo District, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
Small Cabinet, 8.8 x 6.0 x 3.8 cm
Ex. Martin Zinn; Herb Obodda
SOLD
Quartz specimens of this style and quality together are relatively uncommon from this well-known Madagascar district. Note the extra "betafo-style" face on one large surface of the quartz - classic old material. The water-clear prisms have complex, sharp terminations with good luster. The largest crystal is 6.9 cm, with a termination different than the smaller two crystals (showing an extra face). This is a sharp, flashy cluster with aesthetics to spare. Ex Zinn and Obodda collections.
