These remarkable crystals, considered by all who have seen them to be the best of species, started to trickle out in early 2013 and, we think, were mined that previous winter of 2012 from a single pocket. They are phenomenal examples of the species, simply without peer for color and gemminess. They all have some small dings and bruises, but these we selected have less than most and show good crystal habit as well. This large single crystal (33 grams) is unusually elongated. It is also unusually thick, but still easily translucent. Complete on both sides with the exception of a few minor bruises. Joe Budd photos.
