A large specimen, considering the fragility of the species and the generally small pockets in which they are found, which has brilliant magenta-colored crystals covering the entire display surface. The crystals are metallic and translucent, to 2.5 cm in length. A few of the smaller erythrite crystals are actually gemmy with a slightly brighter magenta color. Overall, this big specimen with a dominant core crystal cluster stands out from the majority of pieces we saw from recent finds here (and this locality is the only contemporary source of great examples of the species) .
