A razor-sharp cube of precisely 1 cm, large for the species, and centered nicely to make the perfect thumbnail! So many of these are simply floaters, with no matrix. For my money, this is one of the better thumbnail-sized Boleites that I have come across for the aesthetics, richness, and price range combination. Collected in the mid-1970s by Bill Larson and Ed Swoboda.
